Am Freitag erschien mein neuster Song: Thin ice. Er ist eine Übertragung meines Lieds Dünnes Eis, das sehr wichtig für mich ist. Ich habe das deutsche Lied an Redakteure in Frankreich, USA und Skandinavien geschickt. Sie mochten es, fragten aber, ob es auch eine englische Version gäbe. Gute Idee, dachte ich, und spannend dazu. Nach Jahrzehnten im doch überschaubaren deutschsprachigen Binnensee setze ich damit Segel in einem recht unendlichen Ozean englischsprachiger Musik. Mal sehen, an welche Ufer mich das bringt.
